Beloved we saw this happen on the recent concluded BASIC Tororo mission with Teens College. Abraham arrived earlier, 13th 11:00pm
FRIDAY 14TH 6:00 Am
6am 14th Abraham was speaking to the students during their assembly about BASIC and what BASIC has come to do.
9am Abraham was on EL Shama fm radio explaining BASIC and what BASIC really does and went school to school talking to the school heads about the workshop and the benefits therein coz some had received false info.
SATURDAY 12:00 (midnight)
The basic crew arrived 12:09am in Tororo.
5am-7am BASIC was up to run the devotion and morning Glory, with the students were Bongole Patrick, Philip, Ray, on EL shama fm radio we had Joel and Fred and within the pastors’ house we had Cathy, Brenda, JM, Abraham, and by God’s grace all was done.
8am BASIC was in the classes of senior 1-3 teaching mathematics, biology and chemistry. Ray and Cathy took on math, Philip and Joel took on chem., Brenda and Bongole took on biology. The rest of the team worked on registration and supervisory work, this experience opened up the student’s hearts to have BASIC MINISTER TO THEM. I was so happy to see God using us in different ways
11am the main workshop began with BASIC doing an introduction to the audience and Pastor Shama opening up the workshop. This saw Ray and Cathy do the career guidance while Patrick lectured the primary seven candidates
The holistic experience was created into five powerful families the Aquila and Pricilla (Joel and Brenda), Tabitha (Philip). Queen Esther (Cathy and Fred), Joshua (JM) and King jehosophat (Ray).
The audience was grouped according to families to further expound on the career issue and arrange for the BASIC family competition
2:40pm the afternoon session was blinking, students were excited for the competition, and they participated with zeal. The primary seven candidates were given opportunity on EL Shama fm radio to share with the listeners what they had learnt, Bongole and the teacher were surprised to see the candidates giving account by account of what they learnt, glory to God.
The competitions began with a high zeal, the events included a song, a poem, a skit, if am the president, current affairs. as for the song and poem, had to be done in line with the workshop theme and in the period of two minutes and five for skit and if am the president.
The Joshua family led by JM emerged the winner and king Jehosophat led by Ray won the bottom line. The whole dream purpose here was to train students to think fast and act best, to bring them into the culture of working together and believing in each other as a family
The evening fello shifted Cathy and Joel to preach on Radio while Patrick took on the students on the path of relationship, sex and God.
By the time each of us went to bed a lot had been achieved and people were seriously worked up but of course some endured to watch a movie (movie specialist Ray)
SUNDAY 16th 5:00am
BASIC devotional time led by Ray
Basic is divided into two groups by 7am. Abraham, Ray, Brenda, Philip and Cathy worship with the GGAI (God’s Generals Assemblies International) were Abraham preached in the morning service on the topic Responsibility. The other group JM, Joel, Fred, led by Patrick as chief speaker moves to a neighboring church to minister to the youth of the church. By 10am basic had ministered to all age groups that Sunday.
Abraham, Ray, Mugabi, Fred, Cathy, and Philip seriously opened war on the school toilets, both male and female toilets were seriously cleaned, while Bongole, Joel, Brenda and JM took to evangelism preaching the gospel of love, distributing tracts and inviting people to church
JM, Philip, and Ray clean up and arrange the hall of residence while Cathy and Brenda do the same to their side.
Before departure, BASIC members get engaged in a basic farewell interaction. Young boys and Gils share their lives with the BASIC crew who in turn advise them appropriately. JM and Philip took on the boys right in their halls of residence and spoke right to their hearts
Pastor Shama prays a blessing on Basic and also prays for marriage at least Patrick heard this more than the rest. We travel to Tororo Town to climb the rock but people are forced to abandon the project coz of fear.
By God’s grace we happen to say hello to Cathy’s mum. A very happy joy filled lady in fact she loved me more than rest coz I got around 11 hugs, the rest got hand shakes
By 10pm Kampala was home. For everything that happened the Glory is for God alone coz we are just his vessels nothing less or more.
For those who went into the field, those who prayed, those who sponsored, those who did those little things for this mission,
It all comes back to one thing THANK YOU BASIC WITHOUT YOU NOTHING WOULD HAVE BEEN ACHIEVED YOU ARE SUCH A TREASURE
NB our hosts were so happy and pleased by what they heard and saw. Pastor Shama currently is in Nairobi in the Hospital coz one of his Children swallowed a pin and it went in the lungs. He asked me if he can connect us in Nairobi to which I answered yes so any time BASIC will be traveling with the Gospel of love to Nairobi

I’m humbled, and challenged, and thanking God for what He’s doing through BASIC. This fellowship has matured so much over the past year, which reflects growth in human hearts.
In a world where many are quick to use the resources & machination of efficiency to increase their selfishness, you guys are taking joy in the use of what you’re blessed with, for now and for eternity.
I love God in you, His Hands to hold the child, His feet to walk to them.
….people can never know how much you care for them until you show it…
Basic,what you are doing is just the beginning of what God is yet to do in you.
keep up with that spirit.
